Hello, my name is Haru Myunghoon Lee and welcome to my blog!
I am a Korean American whose family immigrated to the United States in 2010. I’ve been living in Texas since then. I was a part of KAAGA (Korean American Association of Greater Austin) for a few years and I try to host at a small Austin Korean meetup.
I work as a software developer (frontend-leaning full stack developer). I got my Bachelor’s degree in CS at Texas A&M and Master’s at Georgia Tech.
I came out as a bigender in 2019 and started medically transitioning in 2021. Now I identify as a trans woman. I am also a lesbian (WLW).
I believe that we have enough means and resources to give everyone enough money for rent, food, education and medical support, especially as the technology advances and productivity increases. That’ll enable people to pursue their dreams, live more fulfilling lives, and build better communities.
I identify as a neurodivergent. I was initially hesitant to claim the label since I wasn’t officially diagnosed with it and I felt I wasn’t ND enough, but I am learning that it’s a useful information for me.
p.s. Pardon the mess as I figure out how I want things to look like in this blog
