Healthy and Sustainable life? – Intro

In America, we live in a capitalistic world where it feels like no part of government or no companies truly care about us.

But it’s good to see that there are few politicians and companies that have better visions and values.

So what do I mean by healthy and/or sustainable life?

Here are some thoughts and details I’ve been thinking about (though this isn’t an exhaustive list)

Healthy?

cardiovascular health (eating a bit extra fat won’t just clog up my blood vessels),
flexibility and mobility (so when I fall I don’t get hurt as bad),
muscular strength (to hold myself together and that I can carry stuff),
hormonal balance (so I don’t feel tired all the time),
sufficient micronutrients (vitamins and minerals),
enough water (to take toxins out of my body if possible),

economic and occupational health (so I don’t constantly worry about money),
social health (social support and connections),
emotional health (so nothing small just triggers me and ruins my day),
spiritual healthy (so I feel more connected to the nature and the world),

Sustainable?

pastured meat (less stress hormones, more nutrients, less bad/unknown chemicals),
cotton-based clothes (less microplastics or other petroleum toxins on my clothes),
Less of manufactured cleaning supplies (less chemical residues on kitchenware and clothes),
Less of plastic containers (less microplastics),

These are some of the things I’ve been thinking and learning about. I barely got to implement these and I’m still doing my research. But one day, I am away from all the bad chemicals that corporate America shamelessly put in their products.
